The apron has made 100% progress and occupies an area of 136,200 m2 with the capacity for 10 narrow-body and 6 wide-body aircraft. The cargo facility is 97% complete, and there is a 1,500-meter access road. Public facility development is at 55%, and a 3-story gallery spans 900 m2.
The history of Lombok International Airport is as follows: On September 30, 2011, Selaparang Mataram Airport was closed, resulting in the relocation of all airport operations to Lombok International Airport. Lombok International Airport commenced its operations on November 1, 2011. The first aircraft to land at this international-grade airport was Garuda Indonesia’s GA 432, a Boeing 737-800 NG, arriving from Jakarta.
