Bagi wisatawan dari luar daerah, cara menuju Bukit Selong paling umum adalah melalui Kota Mataram atau Bandara Internasional Lombok. Perjalanan dilanjutkan dengan mobil atau sepeda motor menuju kawasan Sembalun melalui jalur utara via Bayan.

The route to Selong Hill from Mataram takes approximately 3–4 hours. The route is: Mataram – Pusuk – Tanjung – Bayan – Sembalun. Along the way, travelers will be treated to mountain panoramas and stretches of tropical forest. Alternatively, you can take the route: Mataram – Mantang – Kopang – Masbagik – Aikmel – Sembalun.
