The peak of this new tourist destination in Lombok stands proudly at an elevation of 1,934 meters above sea level (masl). At such altitudes, it is essential to bring warm clothing, such as a cold or wind-resistant jacket.
Savana Propok is located at a lower position, with a difference of about 30 meters from the peak of Bukit Kondo. Although lower in elevation, Savana Propok tends to have colder temperatures at night. This is because it is situated in a valley where there is limited exchange of warm air.
To stay in good health and combat the cold and potential flu, it’s advisable to increase your vitamin C intake.
The itinerary for the Bukit Kondo & Savana Propok trek spans over 2 days and 1 night.
We have crafted this itinerary to the best of our abilities for your satisfaction. However, if you desire any changes during the trek, please consult with our guide.
We will arrange pick-up at the agreed meeting point, which can be the airport or a hotel. If the meeting point is at the airport, please choose an early morning flight.
From the meeting point, we will embark on a journey to Sapit village in East Lombok, which takes approximately 2-3 hours.
Upon reaching Sapit village, we will make preparations and commence the trek.
The trek to Bukit Kondo & Savana Propok can take 2-4 hours, depending on the participants' physical abilities.
There are two options for setting up tents. You can choose to camp on the hill's ridge or on the savanna. Both locations have their own unique beauty, and you are free to decide. There, our guide and porters will set up tents, and you can relax while enjoying the panoramic view and the sunset sinking behind Mount Rinjani, accompanied by hot tea or coffee.
Morning is a moment you shouldn't miss while at the Bukit Kondo & Savana Propok camping ground. The warmth of the sunrise and the magnificent view of the savanna, Mount Rinjani, and other hills are sights that are a feast for the eyes.
Meanwhile, our porters and guide will prepare breakfast and hot drinks for you.
If you feel satisfied, we can begin the journey back down to Sapit village.
From Sapit village, our driver will be ready to take you back to your hotel or the airport.
Down payment of 50% is required, with the full payment to be made on the first day.
The down payment will be fully refunded (100%) in the event of force majeure, such as a volcanic eruption that leads to the cancellation of the trek.
A 25% refund is available for cancellations made at least 30 days before the trek’s scheduled date.
You have the option to find a replacement participant if it’s not feasible for you to undertake the trek.
